Heterogeneous experiences always give new life to great projects: the story of Jaren and the genesis of their debut album is no exception.
It was born after the meeting of the two founders, Alessandro and Carlo, electronic and dance music fans, with their friend Gianni, an all-round classical musician, far from club culture and the synth world but able to bring to the band that touch of melody that was perhaps necessary.
After an excellent and appreciated live show at the Fat Fat Fat Festival in Italy, Jaren decided to put into reality the mixture of styles created by their collaboration, going through a forest of harsh conversations about the musical line to take and coming out with better intentions than the begin.
The result is 'Don't judge, listen', a wildly beautiful album that mixes electronic rhythms with the warm sounds of Fender strings, whether bass, the electric piano, and vocal lines too.
"Jaren" is an Indian word meaning "Roots" . Maybe it's here, in this all-Italian project, where the roots of two musical universes so seemingly distant and unconventional find a way to mix and coexist, gliding on 9 tracks never boring and with a story to tell, to listen and not to judge.
